Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lisan AI (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Lisan AI transcribes, translates, and re-voices video/audio in supported original languages into Arabic using automated speech, translation, and AI voice-generation tools. Output quality depends on the quality of your input audio and is not guaranteed to be perfect — automated transcription, translation, and voice generation may contain errors, mistranslations, or missing diacritics (tashkeel); please review generated output before relying on or distributing it.

Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old, provide an accurate email address, and be legally able to enter into these Terms to create an account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.

Your content & responsibilities

• You must own, or have the necessary rights and permissions for, any video, audio, or text you upload.
• You must have the right/consent to clone any voice you submit for voice cloning, including your own voice or a voice appearing in your uploaded media. Do not clone or impersonate a real person's voice without their consent.
• You retain ownership of your content. By uploading it, you grant us only the limited right to process it in order to provide the Service to you.
• You will not use the Service to create content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or that impersonates a real person without consent.

Credits, subscriptions & payments

• The Service is pay-as-you-go: 100 credits = $1.00. Transcription, generation, and merging each consume credits as shown in the app. One-time credit packs are purchased through Stripe and do not expire.
• You can also subscribe to an optional recurring monthly plan (also billed through Stripe) for ongoing monthly credits and longer result-retention (see "Service availability" below). Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page; cancelling stops future renewals, but you keep access and your current credits until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
• All payments are final. We do not offer refunds, in cash or in credits, for one-time credit purchases or subscription charges already billed — this applies to both used and unused credits, and to the remainder of a subscription period after you cancel.

Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features may change over time. Uploaded media and in-progress working files are temporary and are automatically deleted from our servers after a short retention window; finished results are kept longer so you can retrieve them from your Account page (see our Privacy Policy for exact timing).

Alpha features. Some features, such as lip-sync (available for short dubs only), are offered as an alpha version. They are experimental and may produce unexpected results, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and you use them at your own responsibility.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lisan AI and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lisan AI and its operator from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms — including, without limitation, cloning or attempting to clone a voice without the necessary rights or consent.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including misuse of voice cloning or abusive/illegal use of the Service. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is subject to the courts of Germany, except that this does not take away any right you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence to bring a claim in your local courts instead.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Lisan AI regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on this subject. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
